Portland is the largest city in the U.S. state of Oregon and the seat of Multnomah County. It is a major port in the Willamette Valley region of the Pacific Northwest, at the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia rivers. Portland is frequently recognized as one of the world's most environmentally conscious cities because of its high walkability, large community of bicyclists, farm-to-table dining, expansive network of public transportation options, and over 10,000 acres (4,000 hectares) of public parks.     This Access database is web enabled with a SQL Server back end. Additionally it interacts with Sharepoint, providing light document management services. The Snead Company creates proposals for their clients using this Access database and then tracks the progress of those proposals to winning status (or dead status).

They advised the paper and packaging firm to build an historical demand based Access Database. It incorporated not only ERP (SAP) sourced historical demand, but also provided advanced logistic support to this Paper and packaging corporation.

    This Access database determined optimim supply levels in plants and warehouses throughout the US including Maine, North Carolina, Ohio, California, Texas, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and Michigan.

    Built Access Database for Concentrate portion of Bottling Business. This Access database is used for tracking productivity of resources within the manufacturing / bottling facility. We modified a previous Access database built for the Pepsi Pennsylvania plant and imported raw data from Excel.

    NuFarm is a pesticide chemical manufacturer based in Australia. They're office in Raleigh North Carolina initially engaged us to build an Access Database to track Environmentl Protection Agency (EPA) forms. They have over 2,000 EPA forms on file with the US Government.

    Upon further conversation and discovering the intent of this chemical/pesticide client, we decided that an Access Database WAS NOT the proper solution.

    They desired people AROUND THE WORLD to enter and query their application. So we built this database using PHP web pages and a SQL Server data file. You may find more information about this application at www.data-blade.com
